The 11th hour, and just an hour to
go, the parking lot now had vacant
spaces and the tents were empty, but
the activities didn’t stop at the Relay
for Life Saturday night. Though
the walkers were limited in number
now, a few teams were determined
to see it through to the late-hour end
of a long, emotional day.
Caitlyn Lore led the group in a quiet yoga
workout. For many, yoga is an exercise the
helps reduce anxiety and stress, and it aids with
weight loss. The group learned yoga poses
including the Downward Dog, Tree Pose, and
Child’s Pose. Giggles were heard as everyone
tried to imitate what the instructor was doing,
some with more success than others.
