A perfect day for 2016
Logan County Relay for Life
The day was filled with beautiful summer weather as the 2016 Relay
for Life kicked off Saturday, June 18 at noon. The noon until midnight
schedule was started last year.
Emcee Cameron Kurtz welcomed
everyone to the relay and said this
year’s theme is “Rocking for the Cure.”
Kurtz said relay funds raised will help
with services such as road to recovery
rides, wig programs, and lodging. Kurtz
told everyone there “you are the reason
the American Cancer Society exists.
You are the Relay for Life. Our thanks
go out to you for your compassion,
commitment, and fundraising efforts.
We thank you for what you do.”
During the opening lap,
