Throughout the rest of the New Testament,
first in the ministry of Jesus Himself, and then
in the ministry of the New Testament Church,
we see the same thing:
God is a God of miracles.
He cleanses leapers,
He causes blind men to see,
He makes lame men walk,
provides money in mysterious ways,
fills the nets of weary fisherman,
makes deaf men talk,
heals headaches, fevers and
all kinds of physical problems.
I don’t know what this does for you, friend.
But this gives me great hope! I’m glad there’s
more hope than an insurance company. I’m
glad we serve a God that still parts the sea
and calms the storm and makes a way where
there’s none.
This Christmas, let your faith in God get a
little bigger. Let Him work into your spirit
and rise up inside you.
Begin to believe again that God can do it.
Begin to believe again that He wants to meet
your need and make you whole.
If God can really do everything He His Word
says about the Christmas story, then He
really can touch your life. He’s still a God of
miracles!
I pray that this holiday season will be filled
with a fresh sense of new hope in God’s desire
to meet your need and touch your life right
where you are.
Blessings on you!
