Bands played throughout the event, with
the music being mainly rock-n-rok and
soft rock.
All in all, it was a good day, with lots of
potential for growth in the future. The Mill
Museum has been an ongoing project for
several years; that is nearing completing.
Ladd recently reported to the Lincoln City
Council that a grant application through
the National Parks Service had been
approved. The money from the grant
coupled with support from the city and
several generous donations from private
sources will permit the Route 66 Heritage
Foundation to complete the work needed
to open the museum. It is expected that
the museum will open its doors in the
spring of 2017.
