Thursday was Kids Day
at the Logan County Fair.
In the special events barn
a variety of fun activities
were set up including craft
projects such as jeweled
crowns made of paper
plates, and wooley worms
with clothes pins. There
was also plenty of physical
activities as kids tested
their hula hoping skills
and played toss the water
balloon.
A wonderfully talented artist
was on hand to do face
painting. Her skills included
painting brick walls on kids
faces or snowflakes in blue
and white reminiscent of
the movie Frozen. She also
did some wonderful cat
faces. Kids were treated to
pop corn and magic show
by Rob Thompson, the Fun
Magician.
Special guests for the day
were Miss Logan County
Fair Queen Lizzie Ford and
little Miss Logan County
Preslee Sherren. Little
Miss Preslee became
the magician’s assistant
helping with some of his
amazing tricks while Queen
Lizzie enjoyed taking
part in some of the craft
projects.
