Annual Garden Tractor Pulls

Thursday evening, there was a different
kind of horsepower on the race track at
the Logan County Fair. The annual garden
tractor pull kicked off the grandstand
entertainment followed by an evening
with the big boys from antique tractors to
super stocks, classics and Pro-farm.
The garden tractors are more like
transformers because they are not the
machines your dad mows the lawn with
that’s for sure. The high-performance hot
rod midgets are built to pull weight and
impress crowds.
In stark contrast, the first pulls in the large
tractors were the antiques. While they
pull weight, they do so with a “slow and
steady, can do” attitude.
