On Thursday morning the 4-H
Beef Show at the Logan County
Fair brought in approximately 20
outstanding animals.
The show was broken down into
breeds that included Angus,
Hereford, Shorthorn, Crossbred, All
other Breeds (OAB) and Simmental.
In the end, the champion from each
breed went head to head and tail to
tail, vying for this year’s title of Grand
Champion Steer.
When the dust settled in the show
barn, it was Andrew Renfrow who
took the Championship title with his
Crossbred Steer. Brandon Hickey was
tight competition for Renfrow and
took the Reserve trophy with his OAB.
