Frequent heavy rains
began in June and
continued through mid-
July saturating field and
overflowing all run-off
areas, drainage ditches,
swales, ponds and streams.
Most Logan County fields
saw days of ponding. To
the south of Lincoln, Deer
and Salt Creeks beared
record flood levels.
