Page 241 Lincoln Daily News 2026 Logan County Fair August 2026 BINGO is always a very popular event. There were so many seniors who turned out to play that more tables and chairs needed to be set up. All the vendors brought bingo prizes to give as prizes and the stage was lined with many offerings for winners. Friends and family were seated together catching up with people they may only see at the fair during bingo. There was laughter, teasing and some serious competition going on. The finale’ to the morning activities was Route 66 Barbershop Quartet. They sang some oldies but goodies like “Get your Kicks on Route 66,” “Down by the Old Mill Stream,” and an old Wizard of Oz hit that was sung by Judy Garland back in the day-“Somewhere Over the Rainbow.” The weather was pleasant with a light breeze, the shared fun spirit was nourishing to both body and soul, and all in all it was a good day!
