Cakes, cakes,cakes; Cake Classic Auction
Cake judge, Nancy Schaub, said she
was usually sitting in the audience
bidding on cakes, not on stage judging
them. She woke up at 2 a.m. from a
dream about judging cakes and she
took it as a sign that the task before
her was going to be difficult. She had
no idea, however, how difficult. She
praised the bakers for not only the taste
of their cakes but for the presentation.
Mike Maske donated his time to auction off the cakes. All
the proceeds raised from the cake auction go directly to
Logan County 4-H to support their programs. After each
cake was auctioned, the baker and the buyer posed for
a picture with Logan County Fair Queen Michelle Paulus
and Little Miss Logan County Paisley Baker.
