Debbie Adair asked contestants what they liked to do and received answers
ranging from “school” to “playing” to “recess in the gym.”
When asked what they want to be when they grow up, several said a princess
and one said a rock star. Another just wants to “be good.”
After judges tabulated the points, Tatum Leesman was called back up to the
stage to be crowned prince with a military cap to fit the theme “American
Heroes.” Sweet and charming Ava Kissinger was crowned princess. Both will
ride in a golf cart in Saturday’s parade.
