Poultry and Waterfowl Shows
For Jordan Ginter, it was a winner takes all
type of day at the Logan County Fair on Tues-
day.
Ginter had entries in the Poultry and in
Waterfowl. Judging took place in the livestock
barns on the fairground’s north end and
Ginter walked away with the championship
ribbons and trophy in both categories.
The Maxine Maxheimer Memorial Children’s
Award for Champion Chicken was presented
to Ginter by Maxine’s son Dale Maxheimer,
and her grandson Tanner Strampp.
In the Waterfowl category, Ginter was award-
ed his trophy and ribbon by Megan Opper-
man, and Judge Bob Gilbert. The trophy was
sponsored by the Award Shop in Lincoln.
