        aturday morning Geoff Ladd of the Abraham Lincoln Tourism Bureau of
      
      
        Logan County, Darlene Begolka of the Logan Railsplitting Association,
      
      
        Mayor Keith Snyder and Paresh Patel, owner of the Best Western, joined
      
      
        Gene Hickey and members of the Logan County Mounted Police in dedicating new
      
      
        benches at the site of the covered wagon recognized by Guinness as the world’s
      
      
        largest.
      
      
        The benches were made by Hickey and donated to the tourist site in the name of the
      
      
        They have been placed at the head
      
      
        of the wagon so visitors may sit a
      
      
        spell when they stop in.
      
      
        The wooden pegs in the crossbars were
      
      
        originally used to secure roof joists in an
      
      
        1800
      
      
        s barn Hickey tore down.
      
      
        The covered wagon is recognized as
      
      
        a Route 66 Roadside Attraction.
      
      
        Youngsters headed to Eaton Fields
      
      
        for a football game check out the
      
      
        wagon and read the info on the
      
      
        roadside sign.
