4-H Dog Show
The annual 4-H Dog Show was held this past Saturday morning. This year there were
five participants in the show.
The judge for this event was Gail Vlahovich of Bloomington. Vlahovich was returning
to the Logan County judging for the second year in a row. As a dog owner and
showman with black Labs, Vlahovich spends a lot of extra time with the kids, offering
them tips on how they can better show their pets.
Those who participated this year were Tiffany Stewart in Beginner I; Zac Gill, Katie
Lynn and Hannah Stewart in Beginner II; and Amelia Kuhlman in Dog Care. Zac
Gill also participated in Senior Showmanship, and Katie Lynn participated in Junior
Showmanship.
All the participants took home blue ribbons. Tiffany Stewart received a plaque for the
best of her class as did Zac Gill and Katie Lynn.
Gill was selected as the state fair delegate for this year.
