This is Katie Chaffin of Ipava with her 8-year-old
quarter horse, Salty A One, in the open halter class on
Wednesday morning. Notice the beautiful braiding on
her mane!
Cindy Newman of Lincoln shows off her 16-year-old
Dayanara, a Paso Fino
horse. They are a Spanish horse known for their
smooth gait. You can actually hold a glass of water
and ride them without spilling it. Cindy shows for
fun, but Dayanara has won 20 ribbons since Cindy
bought her in 2008.
First place in Class 1274 open walk and favorite
