The Logan County Fair
Friday, several fabulous bakers got an opportunity to
show off their best cakes and candies at the Logan
County Fair.
On Saturday will be the first-ever “My Favorite Pie”
contest, and on Sunday will be the Logan County Cake
Classic.
Also on Saturday will be the annual chili cook-off.

First-place winners Darlene Crider, Carlene Carter,
Mariam Carter standing in for Elizabeth Carter, with
Sonnie Alexander.
Rob Dunbar won Best of Show Snack Food with
his trail mix. A gift was given to Rob by Sonnie
Alexander, managing broker for Coldwell Banker
Cornerstone in Lincoln. Sonnie gives the gift every
year in memory of her mother-in-law, Blanche
Alexander, who was active at the Logan County Fair.

Friday.
Superintendent Mary Ellen Martin presents Fay
Boerma the Best of Show award as a candy exhibitor.
The award is sponsored by Sonnie Alexander,
managing broker of Coldwell Banker Cornerstone in
Lincoln.
