Apple-Cranberry Gelatin

2 ½ cups hot water
1 large can crushed pineapple, drained and reserve juice
1 can whole cranberries
2 large packages strawberry or cherry gelatin
4 apples, peeled, cored and chopped fine
Bring drained pineapple juice and water to a boil. Dissolve
gelatin. Add can of cranberries and whisk until fully combined.
Stir in pineapple (I don’t use all of it). Pour into serving
dish. As it begins to thicken add in chopped apples. Chill for 2
hours or until completely set up.
