Chicken Chili Dogs
CHILI SAUCE:
1/2 teaspoon olive oil
1/2 pound ground chicken
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 garlic clove, minced
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can dark red kidney beans, drained
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 teaspoons chili powder
TOPPINGS:
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup chopped onion
In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat; add chicken, 1/2 cup
onions and garlic. Cook until chicken is browned. Stir in kidney
beans, tomato sauce, and chili powder. Simmer 15-30 minutes.
Place hot dogs in buns; top with sauce, sprinkle of cheese and
remaining onions.
