Brew and BBQ

3 pound boneless pork loin
1 (12 oz.) can beer
½ cup dark corn syrup
½ cup finely chopped onion
1/3 cup prepared mustard
¼ cup cooking oil
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 or 2 cloves garlic, minced

Place pork loin in large shallow glass dish. In bowl, stir together remaining ingredients; pour over pork. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Remove pork from dish. Place on hot outdoor gas or charcoal grill; grill. Baste with marinate occasionally. Cook until meat thermometer reads 155 -160 degrees which might be 1 – 1 ½ hours. Let stand 10 minutes before thinly slicing meat to serve.
