Oatmeal Cookies

“It’s a great recipe if you’re looking for a healthy and
nutritious cookie.”
2 small (or 1 large) very ripe banana
2 cups unsweetened applesauce
3 tablespoons margarine
2 eggs or Egg Beaters
2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups oatmeal
¾ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon nutmeg
¾ cup raisins
chopped walnuts, optional
In large bowl, combine banana, applesauce, margarine, eggs and
vanilla. Add all other ingredients; stir until just blended.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 25 minutes or until light golden brown
