Fish Batter
SUBMITTED by wefish, Illinois

3/4 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
2 tablespoons cornstarch
3/4 cup water

Sift flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder and cornstarch. Add water and mix well. Coat fish, covering completely. Deep fry until a nice golden brown.
NOTE: can also use batter on chicken pieces.
