Taco Casserole

1 can crescent
rolls
1 pound ground beef
1 package taco seasoning mix
1/2 cup water
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup chunky
salsa
2 cups shredded cheddar, Colby-Jack or mozzarella cheese, any
combination
4 cups tortilla chips, crushed
Spread rolls
on greased 9x9 inch square pan's bottom; set aside. In a large
skillet, brown ground beef; drain. Stir in seasoning mix & water,
heat until bubbly. Crush tortilla chips, sprinkle half on top of
rolls. In layers add meat mixture, sour cream, salsa, shredded
cheese & remaining chips. Bake at 350º for 45-50 minutes. Cut &
serve in squares.
