The lesson of the look-alike quiz was to help
people realize the importance of proper iden-
tification and storage of hazardous materials.

Are you prepared for a disaster? This
representative of the American Red Cross holds
a heat pack for cooking food. The pack is activated
by adding tap water and will instantly heat to
above boiling for cooking food when there is
no electricity or cooking stove.
Several booths were set up that allowed
guests to check on certain health issues
without a doctor’s appointment. Above a
guest prepares to have a hemoglobin test.
This test did cost $1, which is minimal,
but there were also many similar booths
where testing was free.
