2 2014 PROM GRAND MARCH May 8, 2014 LINCOLN DAILY NEWS.COM
S
aturday turned out to be
a perfect day for a Red Carpet
and Prom March event in
Lincoln. While some of the
ladies with their lovely do's
might have wished for a little
less breeze, the temperatures
were warm and the sun was
shining down on the local
stars of the night.
This year the theme for
the red carpet event was
"Hollywood". The prom-goers
did it up right showing up in
beautiful dresses all 'glitz'
and 'glam' with partners who
looked equally as adorable.
At the red carpet event,
the young people were
interviewed for WLCN radio
and a televised broadcast that
will air locally at a later date.
Not unlike their real Hollywood
counter parts, part of the
fun of shooting this event is
in seeing the expressions
on the faces of the young
people when the emcee's put
them on the spot with their
questions.
After the initial interview,
guests were invited to pose for
a picture against a Hollywood
backdrop. All the prom-goers
received a copy of this shot,
free of charge. Inside there
was another opportunity to
have their pictures taken in a
professional setting.
