Museum of Route 66 Lincoln Daily News June/July 2026 Page 61 The last stop for visitors will be the gift shop which was open and stocked with items on the first day of opening, and it was getting the attention of some of the guests who left with selections of caps, books, and other Route 66 mementos. For the special soft opening, guests were given free bags of popcorn, and Carrie McEntire of McEntire Appliance (and mother of Lincoln Tourism Assistant Lexie Groves) had donated a lovely cake for the celebration.
