Page 340 Lincoln Daily News 2026 Logan County Fair August 2026 Youth Livestock and Project Auction at the Logan County Fair On Sunday, August 9th, the annual youth livestock and project auction was held at the Logan County Fair. This auction was held in the livestock show barn starting at noon. Many kids came around to show off and have people bid on their various animals. The barn was filled with people, some to watch and others to bid. Almost all the money made from the sale of each animal went directly to the 4-H’er who auctioned the animal. The four auctioneers this year were Dan Naughton, Reed Naughton, Ty Tucker, and Mike Maske, the latter of whom shared that it was his 50th year being an auctioneer. The auction kicked off with Raylee Komnick showing off her meat pen rabbits. Her three rabbits were the grand champion meat pen rabbits at the 4-H rabbit show this year.
