Page 16 Excellence In Education Lincoln Daily News January 2025 Zion Lutheran School in Lincoln has had several building improvement projects over the past six months. These projects are helping to update not only the function, but the look of the school as well. They are also just in time for Zion's 50th Anniversary celebration. First, the school had the roof replaced during the summer. The new roof uses state of the art materials to help keep the building well protected and dry as well as insulated. The replacement was sorely needed as the roof was the original roof put on the building 47 years ago. The new roof should last at least Zion Lutheran School Announces Updates to the School another 25-30 years and keep the building well protected from the elements. In addition to the new roof, the school is also installing a new digital sign. The sign is in the final stages of installation and may even be done by the time you read this. This sign will allow the school to showcase upcoming activities and special messages in addition to providing a Scripture verse for those who drive by the school on Woodlawn Road.
