Our trained volunteer drivers are happy to pick you up, take you to your appointment, and drop you off at home. All for free and all to make your days a little easier. Am I eligible? Patients must be traveling to a cancer-related medical appointment. Other eligibility requirements may apply. Road To Recovery® How do I become a Road To Recovery® Volunteer? Volunteering as a Road To Recovery® driver will put you at the heart of the American Cancer Society’s mission and fulfill a critical need for cancer patients. If you own or have regular access to a safe, reliable vehicle, then you’re already on the road to volunteering. Volunteer drivers must be between the ages of 18 and 84, have a valid driver’s license, pass a background check, and have access to a safe, reliable car. Continued --
