CLASS OF 2024 LINCOLN DAILY NEWS.COM MAY / JUNE 2024 Page 57 NORMAL, IL (May 3, 2024) – Four Logan County high school seniors have been selected as new scholarship recipients from the Iva Mae Blaum Trust. They are Elaine Hyde, Joseph Dahmm, Porter Schwantz and Scout Tschantz. They will begin their nursing or agriculture studies in the fall. FOUR LOGAN COUNTY SENIORS SELECTED AS SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS Elaine Hyde is the daughter of Jeff and Amy Hyde of Lincoln. Elaine has already started her studies at Heartland Community College and plans to transfer to Methodist College in Peoria to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. IVA MAE BLAUM Joseph Dahmm is the son of Andy and Joan Dahmm of Beason. Joseph will begin the CDL program at Lincoln Land Community College in May and intends to receive a general agriculture degree in the semesters to follow. Continued --
