CLASS OF 2024 LINCOLN DAILY NEWS.COM MAY / JUNE 2024 Page 37 LCHS Seniors recognized for academic achievement Lincoln Community High School held its annual Senior Awards Ceremony for the Class of 2024 on Wednesday, May 9, 2024, in the LCHS Auditorium. Several outstanding students were honored with financial awards and recognition for their academic achievements for the school year. In addition to the LCHS Foundation awarding scholarships to students, several organizations, businesses and community members also are very generous in awarding scholarships to local students. As you will see in the digital program, many of the scholarships are also memorial scholarships. The evening is really a wonderful way to celebrate and honor those seniors who have worked hard academically to achieve success. The following awards were presented: The American Legion Citizenship Award Awarded to: Becca Heitzig Heitzig was unable to attend due to a track meet.
