In 1998 he attended auctioneering school in Missouri between his sophomore and junior year of college. It was a nine-day crash course in all things auctioneering. Naughton Auction Services Naughton Auction Services specialize in machinery, livestock, real estate, and estate auctions. Dan loves any opportunity to get behind the microphone and sell. One of the things that Dan prides himself on is his clarity, the ability to clearly understand an auctioneer is important. Of course, Dan also strives to be ethical and honest as well. Starting out on his own, Dan auctioned livestock, show pigs, and show cattle. Living in Pana, IL in the early 2000’s the business began to take off, but really started to grow in 2006 when Dan and his wife Amy moved back to this area. Ag Business Spotlight: Continued --
