Johnson is another veteran competitor who has won first place in the past. Top bidder was Jackson Johnson at $300. Eighth Place: Carlene Carter-Yellow Cake with chocolate frosting. Carter is a veteran who has not participated in the cake classic for a few years. Top bidder was Rod Conklin at $575. Once the auction was over, those who baked cakes posed with their top bidder and Logan County Fair Queen Abby Arnold, Junior Miss Sophia Goodman and Little Miss Olivia Harmsen.
