Page 184 Lincoln Daily News 2024 Logan County Fair Jul/Aug 2024 Veterans from all branches of the Military gathered at the Logan County Fairgrounds on Thursday evening for a yearly photograph at the fair. They managed to maintain a smile through the intense heat and humidity. A flagpole and plaque were set up at the fairgrounds to commemorate the late Joe Schaler. Schaler, the founder of the Central Illinois Veterans Commission, was a pillar of the veteran community in Logan County.
