CLASS OF 2023 LINCOLN DAILY NEWS.COM MAY / JUNE 2023 Page 31 Lincoln Community High School is proud to announce the recipients of the Oliver C. and Roberta M. Hursh Memorial Scholarship Awards. Mr. and Mrs. Hursh did not have any children of their own, but education remained very important to them. They believed that society should encourage the real achievers among us. As has been done for the last twelve years, and will be for the next ten years, the valedictorian and the salutatorian of Lincoln Community High School will each receive 25% of the annual trust earned income. This year’s recipients will each receive $28,288.98. The 2023 Valedictorian is Caralyn Farnam. Caralyn is the daughter of Craig and Denise Farnam. Caralyn plans to attend Lake Land College in Mattoon, IL. The 2023 Salutatorian is Rachel Morrow. Rachel is the daughter of Gregory and Peggy Morrow.
