The weather could have been really hot, but it wasn’t even though the week prior to the fair reached nearly unbearable heat indices. It could have rained every day, but it didn’t. Though if there was any disappointment at all it would have been the fact that when it did rain, it rained enough that the track could not be used for the Sunday evening Demolition Derby that typically marks the official ending of the fair. For those who are wondering though, there is a plan being worked out to bring the derby to Lincoln this fall, with a special event to be held in memory of the late Jason Bradburn. So, as today marks the conclusion of Lincoln Daily News’ coverage of the fair only one question remains. Did we see you there?
