2023 LOGAN COUNTY FAIR LINCOLN DAILY NEWS JULY / AUGUST 2022 Page 165 2023 LOGAN COUNTY FAIR Friday, August 04 After judging completed on Friday, ribbons and points were totaled from both days of Floriculture competition to determine the Champion Exhibitor and the Sweepstakes Award. The Champion Exhibitor is awarded to the Logan County exhibitor with the most blue ribbons in all classes from both shows and is presented by Paul Gleason, Logan County Historian. The Sweepstakes Award 2023 is the William Kavelman Memorial Award which goes to the exhibitor with the highest points total of both the Tuesday and Friday show and is presented by Tom Kavelman. Both honors were awarded to Jim Wessbecher for his many beautiful roses, cut flowers, arrangements, and herbs.
