They can either solve a problem in the world, answer a question that takes time to answer, create or make something from scratch, or learn about something that interests them. It sparks their curiosity and allows them to become their own “geniuses.” The goals of the class are to allow students an opportunity to discover and investigate one of their passions. It also provides students the possibility to develop a skill set that is valuable in any learning environment. They are able to learn from their mistakes as well as sharing and presenting their projects with others.
