Friday evening at the Logan County Fair, two
musical events stood in sharp contrast even
though many would say one was the father
of the other. On the stage in front of the
grandstands, the King of Rock and Roll was
being immortalized by a variety of Elvis
Elvis and the Battle of the Bands
Impersonators vying
to be the best. Also, a
professional impersonator
was offering his
version of the gyrating
king.
Traveling north to the
carnival area, the
Battle of the Bands was
underway. With
a wide variety of music
and performers.
