In addition to getting to see the quilts, several
were happily surprised to see long-time volunteer
and former site manager Wally Kautz on hand
welcoming them. Kautz’s battle with cancer caused
him to resign his position as site manager. Taking on
that roll was Barabara Stroud-Borth, who this year
rode in the parade with the traditional entry of the
scale model of the Mount Pulaski Courthouse.
