Local artists make Oasis fence
their outdoor gallery
Moses Pinkerton, owner of the Lincoln Art Institute, and members of Logan County Arts
have put together an impromptu art exhibition at the burned-out Oasis building. Using
the fence surrounding the Oasis as their art gallery, members have created art that
runs the gamut from a person with painted hands and feet somersaulting across the
canvas to a Caribbean beach scene.
"The artists have turned a catastrophe into an art collaboration and splashed the
corner with color," Pinkerton said.
