2013 Art & Balloon Festival, August 30, 2013
Special edition of LINCOLN DAILY NEWS.com Page 165
The night glow at the Lincoln Art & Balloon Festi-
val is one of the most anticipated parts of the festi-
val. Friday night approximately half of the total 33
balloons participating in this year’s festival returned
to the airport after their evening flight.
They unloaded their folded balloons and set to the
task of inflating once again. In the darkness of the
evening, they lit up the night with their multicolor-
ed orbs, dancing and glowing at the command of
the announcer.
Balloons were called on to flicker, all glow at once,
wave, and then there were the special recognitions
for female pilots, local pilots, out-of-state pilots and
more.
