“My daughter and I have made this dessert for several years for all kinds of gatherings and parties.”

1 lb. 2 oz. package Oreo cookies
1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
3 1/2 cups milk
2 (3 1/2 oz.) packages instant French vanilla pudding
1 (12 oz.) tub Cool Whip
1 package gummy worms
plastic or paper cups for individual servings

In a plastic bag, crush cookies by using rolling pin; set aside. In small mixing bowl, blend cream cheese, sugar and vanilla together; set aside. In another mixing bowl, combine milk and pudding mix; blend well. Stir in cream cheese mixture. Fold in Cool Whip. Use plastic or paper cups; layer spoonful of cookie crumbs, couple spoonfuls of pudding mixture and a top layer of cookie crumbs.
Repeat for all cups. The number of servings depends on the size of the cups. Press gummy worm down in the middle of each cup. Chill until ready to serve.
Note: Can use chocolate Cool Whip and/or chocolate pudding mix
