Pork N Beef Cheese Burgers
SUBMITTED by Debra Rohrer, LDN Food Editor
“A different way to change up the same old burgers.”

1 pound ground beef
1 pound ground pork
1 teaspoon salt or seasoning salt
1 teaspoon pepper (or to taste)
8 slices Provolone cheese
red onion rings
pickle slices
lettuce leaves
8 sesame seed hamburger buns

Heat gas grill to medium heat or charcoal grill until coals are ash white. Meanwhile, in mixing bowl, combine meat, salt and pepper. Divide and shape meat into 8 (4-inch) patties. Place patties on grill. Grill, turning once, until meat is cooked through. To serve, place 1 burger on bottom half of bun; top with 1 slice cheese, onion rings, pickle slice and lettuce. Of course some may want ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise too.
