Recipe Submission Contest

Do you like to cook? Well if you do and you have a favorite recipe, or a dozen for that matter, then submit them to Grab Your Fork and earn a chance or chances to win some great prizes.

Every recipe you submit will put your name in our grab bag and if your name is picked, you will have a choice of some great prizes to choose from.

Congratulations to our August winners. Nitsie Gleason, Lincoln, with her Great and Simple Meat Marinade, chose the Chad's Blind gift certificate, and Mary Steffen, Lincoln, with her Hot Chicken Salad recipe, won a First Impression gift bag (Logan County residents only). All it takes to win is to submit those favorite recipes. So what are you waiting for? Submit those recipes today

All you have to do to get a chance to win is to "fork over" those prized recipes you have and you could win a great prize.

We have added a great cookbook to replace the Chad's Blind certificate. The cookbook is called 200 under 200 and it has 200 recipes that count under 200 calories. It is a great cookbook to help cut calories without cutting good eating.

To sum up what our prize pool package has to choose from

Cookbook package. The books are Entertaining Made Simple and Wine Food and Friends which is a great book that pairs foods with various wines. Both of these books can be yours if you win the drawing and choose to add them to your recipe shelves.

A great group of Williams/Sonoma cookbooks for you to choose from. These beautiful books have great pictures of the dishes as well as the region where they came from. You can have your choice of a cuisine cookbook about Spain and Portugal, Mexico or Provence.

Maybe you are an Abe Lincoln fan. Then the book Lincoln's Last Night will be what you want to choose. The book package includes reproductions of what was in Abe's wallet the night he died along with newspaper clippings of how the story was published after the event. A real "must have" for Lincoln buffs.

Remember we will keep adding choices to the prize package pool so stop by Grab Your Fork often and see what you might win.
