Grilled Pocket Meals
SUBMITTED by Carrie, Bloomington
“Two ways to make a quick and easy supper on the grill.”

Use heavy-duty aluminum foil, place shiny side in, spray with non-stick spray to prevent sticking.

For Pizza Pockets:
Pita bread (one round pita pocket sliced in half will make two pockets).
Pizza sauce
shredded mozzarella
Whatever you like to put on your pizzas: pepperoni, chopped veggies, etc….

For Ham Pockets:
ham steak
thinly sliced sweet potato
pineapple ring
sprinkle brown sugar
pat of butter.

Just add all ingredients to your pita pockets. (for pizza pockets, don’t add too much sauce or it will be messy!) Wrap up individually in tin foil and put on the grill or in the oven until heated through. It takes about 10 minutes over the coals on a camp fire.

NOTE: Make sure and keep a permanent marker handy so everyone can put their initials on their own pockets.
